Leviathan

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld is a great historical fiction novel. I would  give this book an A+. The book is a great take on World War 1 filled with vivid fight/action scenes and dramatic/ suspenseful moments. The only negative things I have to say about Leviathan are the beginning and the end. The beginning just starts, leaving me stuck to untie a giant knot of characters, places, and events so I can actually understand what is going on. I eventually became able to understand everything, so if you are extremely discouraged- keep reading! The ending of the book was abrupt... I feel like it left me off in a middle of a sentence. Then again, Leviathan is a trilogy, so I was expecting the ending to be a cliffhanger. Needless to say within the next 24 hours I had the second book in my possession and I am currently reading that now. If you have any questions, concerns or have any future recommendations, please feel free comment!
